Event Description
During this event 200 high school student participants will come together to celebrate the value of youth leadership and volunteerism. One hundred and fifty of the students in attendance are currently working on youth led service learning initiatives as part of PiCED’s LiVE (Leaders Initiating Volunteer Efforts) project. These students will be exhibiting and presenting their community service work as well as sharing their ideas with the Institute’s audience. The Institute will also include a youth forum in which students discuss their ideas on youth leadership with in the territory.
The institute’s theme is “Youth Leaders – At the heart of change.” Through keynote speeches, student presentations and a youth forum, PiCED seeks to empower our local youth to become active leaders and to inspire a spirit of volunteerism within the students so they can realize their full potential as positive contributing members of their communities.
This is a closed event. Only invited participants may attend
