                    February 16, 2011: Parent Empowerment Summit

                    Running from 8:00am - 1:30pm, the Summit featured an opening address by Vaamua Henry Sesepasara, a keynote speech by Dr. Taeaoafua Meki Solomona, and closing remarks by PiCED founder Sandra King Young. The event also included a roundtable activity in which parents brainstormed and voiced their opinions on methds to improve parent involvement at the schools.The event was a definate success, as nearly 200 parents from across the island came out to show their support.
